Project description
A legend says that the height of the television tower of Walter Ulbricht was fixed personally. At that time with 365-metre height it was the second-highest tower of Europe which was excelled only by the Moscow television tower. In 1997 the upper end was used and substituted with a point around three metre higher. The tower ball contains seven floors, two of them are opened for the public traffic: the view floor at 203-metre height and about that the tele-cafe whose outer ring with the tables turns once per half an hour on own axis. The Berlin landmark the television tower was submitted to a rebuilding and an asbestos renovation. The constructional arrangements and the whole telecommunications were renewed and the lift arrangements were exchanged.
