Project description
The construction project „Energieforum-Berlin/Zentrum Zukunftsenergien Berlin“ was purchased by the project developer HPE from the investor (R+V insurance group Wiesbaden together with the Land of Berlin engaged via a sponsorship contract, represented by the Berlin borough of Friedrichshain). This project is thematically aligned with the economic sector of renewable energies and efficient energy utilisation. The usage concept provides the settlement of companies and institutions making their mark national and international in the sector of eco-friendly and renewalbe energy production and utilisation as well as environmental technology . The complex of buildings consists of the old listed building „Zentralmagazin der städtischen Gaswerke“ (central warehouse of the urban gas works) and two new built side wings comprising an atrium showing to the Spree.

Benefits for the clients
Due to the intensive local quality management it was always possible during the design and realisation phase to directly influence design and the construction works which were not contract compliant. Thanks to its high quality and attractive design the „Energieforum-Berlin/Zentrum Zukunftsenergien Berlin“ shows a renting level which is substandard  compared with Berlin.
